Familines
Is there information about you in a family tree?
On Familines, families build their trees together. A relative may have added you, even if you never joined. Here is what that means and what you can do.
What a tree can hold about you
Your name, dates and places of birth and marriage, your parents and partner, and sometimes a photo or a short story, written by the relative who added you.
Who can see it
Only the members of that family's tree. Trees are never public and do not appear in search engines. Familines does not sell or share this information.
What you can ask us
- To remove your details: you stay in the tree as 馃敀, without name, dates or photos, so the family lines stay joined. Nobody can fill it in again.
- To delete you from the tree completely. Then the line between your parents and your children breaks.
- To correct something that is wrong, or to tell you what we hold about you.
We answer within 30 days, free of charge. Parents can ask for a child, and heirs for a relative who has passed away. You can also write to hello@familines.com.
